In honor of her 15 years in business, celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann along with her eponymous line have released some limited edition sets to celebrate the occasion. Each set is filled with adorable half size (.27 fl oz) bottles of gorgeous shades made exclusively to commemorate her 15 years in business.
The first set I have to share is called "I've Gotta Be Me". This set includes 6 new exclusive shades. According to the box, "Celebrating 15 years in of Deborah Lippmann, this limited-edition anniversary set features six one-of-a-kind, treatment- enhanced nail lacquers created especially for you. As always, I selected song titles as the names of my lacquers. The shades in this set are titled to mark the most meaningful moments in my 15-year journey. It's been a wild and wonderful ride, and I wouldn't be here without your support. For that, I thank you! xoxo Deborah"
The I've Gotta Be Me set includes:
You've got a Friend: a dusty mauve rose pink.
Running on Faith: a sparkling platinum chrome
Fashionably Late: a vivid violet
Ya Got Trouble: a shimmering medium brown
This One's On Me: a shimmering deep burgundy
Stand By Your Man: a classic dark red with blue undertones.
(all swatches shown here are two coats).
This set retails for $49, but I believe HSN.com has it at a special price of $34.95: http://www.hsn.com/products/deborah-lippmann-ive-gotta-be-me-6pc-nail-lacquer-set/7544276
Also available is a smaller 3 piece Celebration set also comprised of new exclusive colors.
The Celebration trio includes:
Big Spender: a shimmering golden yellow. It's not quite a gold shade, falls more on the yellow side of the color spectrum.
It's My Party: multi-colored and sized glitter particles in a clear base. Features red and baby blue squares, salmon and cobalt blue hexagons, small white hexagons, and other various tiny glitter particles.
New York State of Mind: a shimmering ruby red. Great for the holiday season.
(all swatches shown here are two coats.)
The Celebration trio set retails for $29.
I really love these anniversary sets. If you are already a big Deborah Lippmann fan, much like myself, or have been wanting to try out her polishes for a while, here is an excellent opportunity. I also feel these would make Excellent gifts, especially with the Holidays right around the corner. You could even buy the sets and split them up and gift the polishes accordingly. Totally up to you. Nonetheless, I highly recommend them.
