Morgan Taylor + Gelish MINI Selfie Summer 2017 Collection Review 0

"Now there's another reason to smile big in those summer selfies; Gelish MINI and Morgan Taylor introduce Selfie Summer 2017 Collection.  Snapping and sharing those summer moments just got more vibrant.  This collection is filled with neon corals, pinks and purples; you'll need sunglasses to stare!

"Summer is all about fun in the sun and capturing every moment with your phone," says Danny Haile, CEO and founder of Gelish.  "We'll help you nail that manicure so you can nail the ultimate shot!"

Grab your friends, a selfie stick and pick up the collection for a summer to remember! Colors so hot you won't be able to resist taking photos." according to the official press release.

The Selfie Summer Collection is comprised of the following colors-

Me, Myself-ie and I: a neon coral pink with fine gold shimmer running in it. [coral neon shimmer]

Best Face Forward: a deep purple with fine blue shimmer running in it. [purple neon]

Woke up this way: a deep magenta cream. [electric fuchsia neon]

All about the pout: a fun beige peach cream with light pink undertones. [light coral creme]

No Filter needed: a bold aqua blue cream. [blue neon]

Pretty as a Pink-ture: a hot pink cream. [pink neon]

(all swatches are two coats of color, and are taken outdoors in natural sunlight).

This collection is young and fun and definitely reminds me of summer.  I think the colors are gorgeous saturated hues, very well pigmented, and would look particularly beautiful on toes poolside or in the summer sand of the beach.

My personal favs are: Me, Myself-ie and I, Best Face Forward, and No Filter needed.

The Selfie 2017 Collection from Gelish MINI and Morgan Taylor will be available for a limited time beginning June 2017.  Gelish MINI will be available for $12.99 at www.SallyBeauty.com and Morgan Taylor will be available for $9 at www.MorganTaylorLacquer.com For more information, please visit www.gelish.com or www.morgantaylorlacquer.com

Morgan Taylor Beauty & the Beast Collection Spring 2017 Review

Morgan Taylor Beauty & the Beast Collection Spring 2017 Review 0

"This spring is the season your dreams come true; Gelish MINI and Morgan Taylor introduce the Beauty and The Beast 2017 collection.  In correlation with Walt Disney Pictures' release of the live-action film, Beauty and the Beast, the collection is filled with dreamy shades in red pearls and pink and baby blue cremes.  This whimsical collection will make the wearer feel like the Belle at any ball!

"It's extremely wonderful to collaborate with Disney again and create this collection for the Beauty and the Beast live-action movie," says Danny Haile. "We wanted to be honorable guests of this beloved and classic story by developing colors that reflect the beauty that comes from within." according to the official press release.

The collection consists of the following colors-

Gaston and On and On: a baby blue creme.

Plumette with Excitement: a pale dusty pink creme.

Potts of Tea: a milky off white with blue undertones and shimmer running through it. My personal favorite in the collection. [alabaster]

The Last Petal: a shimmering raspberry. [red pearl]

Be Our Guest: a bold magenta pink creme. [pink creme]

Days in the Sun: a light buttery yellow with iridescence running through it. [yellow]

Enchanted Patina: an antique bronze.  Relatively sheer on its own, best to be used on top of another color. [specialty Patina overlay coat. *Morgan Taylor only] (not available in Gelish)

(all swatches shown here are two coats, and are taken outdoors in natural sunlight).

I think this collection beautifully represents the film.  The colors are fun, fanciful, but also practical and highly wearable.  Potts of Tea is my personal favorite, its just so unique and different from all other shades on the market.

I am a big fan of the Enchanted Patina.  I think its a very cool concept and easily allows you to transform virtually any color you already own.  With regards to this collection, however, I say it looks best over Gaston and On and On, and Plumette with Excitement.

Also worth mentioning is the new and improved brush.  I am obsessed with this new wider and cuticle hugging brush.  There are significantly more bristles, and the end of the bristles have a slight curve to them, so they really fit in perfectly up to the cuticle line, allowing for perfect and easy painting application.

The movie comes out nationwide March 17, 2017. Make sure to check out the trailer below.

The Beauty and the Beast collection from Morgan Taylor and Gelish will be available for a limited time beginning February 2017, and will retail for $9 each.

This is a great collection overall.  I think all of the colors are very wearable, particularly around this festive time of year. I love how fun and cheeky some of the names are as well.

As far as formula is concerned and application, I didn't experience any issues whatsoever.  All of the shades painted on smoothly, evenly, and easily.

My personal favorites are: Girl Meets Joy, Just Naughty Enough, and You're So Elf-Centered!

Morgan Taylor The Great Ice-Scape Winter 2016 Collection Review

Morgan Taylor The Great Ice-Scape Winter 2016 Collection Review 0

"Grabbing winter by the laces, Morgan Taylor introduces The Great Ice-Scape Winter 2016 Collection. Offering six charming shades of soft pinks, milky blues, and a copper shimmer; all inspired by the graceful art of figure skating.

"Figure skating, much like the Morgan Taylor woman, is elegant yet playful," says namesake Morgan Haile. Namesake Taylor Daniels continues' "It was essential for the colors included in this collection to have the same joyful spirit of the sport while evoking the icy-essence of the winter season." according to the official press release.

The Great Ice-Scape Winter 2016 Collection consists of the following shades -

Flirt In A Skating Skirt: grayed out cornflower blue cream. Well pigmented. Full coverage in a single coat. [steel blue cream]

Ice Queen Anyone?: a shimmering coppery leaning rose gold. [copper shimmer]

Lace 'Em Up: a dark purple cream with gray undertones. [midnight blue cream]

Hey, Twirl-friend!: a creamy beige leaning nude. [warm nude cream]

N-ice Girls Rule: a sparkly light carnation pink. [pale pink shimmer]

I absolutely Love this collection.  I think its super cute, and I adore the tongue-&-cheekness that went into all of the names.  I think Morgan Taylor is having a fun time in the creativity department selecting the names, and its definitely paying off.

The formulas were Amazing, some of the colors even providing complete coverage in only one coat. I didn't experience any issues to report of.

My personal favorites are- Lace 'Em Up and Flirt In A Skating Skirt.

Morgan Taylor: A Very Nauti-cal Girl Summer 2016 Collection Review

Morgan Taylor: A Very Nauti-cal Girl Summer 2016 Collection Review 0

"Ahoy! Set sail with the A Very Nauti-cal Girl collection from Morgan Taylor Lacquer for May through July 2016.  Inspired by summer sailing, this four-piece collection navigates its way through the sun-filled season with a blazing red, deep sea blue, sunset magenta and sailor white.  This collection's cool shades boast a classic twist to keep your nails maritime ready until fall!

"This collection was developed for the beach babe who is the captain of her own style and enjoys expressing her personality through her nails," says brand namesakes Morgan Haile and Taylor Daniel.  "Each shade will help her cruise through the warmer serasons!" according to the official press release.

A Very Nauti-cal Girl collection is comprised of the following shades:

Girls Love Buoys: a bold and bright magenta cream.  A One Coat Wonder! Incredibly well pigmented. Sort of has a neon quality to it regarding the fact that it sort of drys to a matte finish. [magenta creme]

Catch My Drift: a royal blue cream with violet undertones. [cobalt creme]

My Yacht, My Rules!: an off white taupe with a shimmer running through it. [white frost]

Wish Upon A Starboard: a bright fire engine true red cream. [cherry creme]

(all swatches shown here are two coats, without a top coat, and are taken outdoors in natural light).

I have to be totally honest and candid with you all, initially I wasn't super impressed with the collection.  I found it sort of basic and unnecessary.  However, once I played around with it I started to change my mind.

I found most of the shades to be well pigmented, Girls Love Buoys in particular- which covered completely in a single coat which always makes me supremely happy. The rest of the colors built up nicely with two coats. There was no issues with streaking or pooling.

My two personal favorites and recommendations from this collection are: Girls Love Buoys and My Yacht, My Rules!

A Very Nauti-cal Girl 2016 summer drop-in collection from Morgan Taylor will be available for a limited time beginning May 2016 at fine salons nationwide and at MorganTaylorLacquer.com. The suggested retail price is $9 each (15 mL 0.5 fl oz) and $14.95 for the 4-piece mini pack (not shown here)

Street Beat Summer 2016 Collection Review

Street Beat Summer 2016 Collection Review 0

"Turn up your boom box this summer, it's time to start feelin' the beat on the street! Introducing Gelish and Morgan Taylor's bold and eye-catching array of bright colors for the summer 2016- the Street Beat collection.  The collection includes six new shades: from a striking coral, to a powerful pink pearl, and a fierce teal, to a wild style yellow-orange creme.

"We were inspired by the artistic expression of street art and hip hop for this collection," says CEO and founder of Gelish and Morgan Taylor, Danny Haile. "Each bright shade resonates with inspiration and expressiveness. From energetic, upbeat pinks to a must-have pastel lilac, every shade is trendy from the runway to the streets." according to the official press release.

The Street Beats Summer 2016 collection includes:

B-girl Style: a neon bubble gum pink creme. [neon pink pearl]

Street Cred-ible: a bright nacho cheese orange creme. Took 3 coats for full opacity. [orange/yellow creme]

Cou-tour the Streets: a light pink creme with slight lilac undertones. [lilac creme]

Tag, You're It: a bold neon magenta shimmer. [fuchsia pink pearl]

Give me a Break-dance: a more green leaning teal with slight shimmer running through it. Took 3 coats for full opacity. [teal pearl]

Hip Hot Coral: a bright coral/pink hybrid shimmer. Took 3 coats for full opacity. [hot coral pearl]

(all swatches shown here are 2 coats of the Gelish Minis, unless stated otherwise, cured for 30 seconds each in an LED lamp, and are taken outdoors in natural light).

What I love and enjoyed most about this collection is how fun, bold, and bright the colors all are.  What I didn't love about this collection is the lack of pigmentation.  As gorgeous as the colors are, half of them required 3 coats in order to become fully opaque.  The main downside to three coats is the time required for application.  If your clients aren't in a hurry, or if you don't have clients booked up back-to-back than it shouldn't be an issue.

My personal favorites include: Give me a Breal-dance, Tag, You're it, and Street Cred-ible.

The Street Beat Collection from Gelish MINI and Morgan Taylor will be available for a limited time in May 2016.  Gelish MINI is available at Sally Beauty Supply stores and http://sallybeautysupply.com/ for $13.99 per bottle and Morgan Taylor is available at https://www.morgantaylorlacquer.com/ for $9 per bottle.

Morgan Taylor Botanical Awakenings Spring 2016 Collection Review

Morgan Taylor Botanical Awakenings Spring 2016 Collection Review 0

"Spring into the season with fresh fingertips! Introducing a breathtaking arrangement of six stunning shades for Morgan Taylor’s Spring 2016 collection, Botanical Awakenings. With a lively, light coral, classic taupe, radiant hot red and more, this bouquet of pink shades is budding with personality fit for any flower child.

“We were inspired by soft pinks, rich reds and creamy neutrals for this romantic and sophisticated collection,” says CEO and Founder of Morgan Taylor, Danny Haile. “Each shade is reminiscent of a budding and chic garden. From irresistible, whimsical pinks to warm crème shades, every polish is the perfect spring accessory.”

The Botanical Awakenings Collection is comprised of the following colors-

Rose-y Cheeks: a bright and bold pink with a subtle iridescent shimmer running through it. [Bubblegum pink pearl]

I Or-chid You Not: a greige (grey/beige) cream.  [Dark taupe crème]

Warm Up the Car-nation: a bright raspberry magenta shimmer. Highly pigmented. [Bright magenta pearl]

Don’t Pansy Around: a hot pink magenta cream. Highly pigmented.  [Hot pink crème]

What’s Your Poinsettia?: a dark cranberry red shimmer. Also highly pigmented [Crimson red pearl]

Prim-rose and Proper: a light creamy nude. [Light taupe crème]

(all swatches shown here are two coats, and are taken outdoors in natural sunlight).

I think this is a beautiful collection to welcome the coming spring season.  The colors are all definitely wearable, and I really like the fact they're inspired by flowers, which couldn't be more apropos for Spring! 😉

I was most impressed by the formula.  A lot of the shades, about half of them, were very highly pigmented and provided excellent coverage in even a single coat.  I love a well pigmented polish.

I found the shades all painted on smoothly and evenly, without causing any brush strokes or issues of any kind.

My personal favorites from the collection include: Rose-y Cheeks, I Or-chid You Not, and Prim-rose and Proper.

The Botanical Awakenings Collection will be available for a limited time at select salons nationwide and at MorganTaylorLacquer.com. The suggested retail price for the lacquers are $8.50 each.

Kung Fu Panda 2016 Collection from Morgan Taylor and Gelish MINI Review

Kung Fu Panda 2016 Collection from Morgan Taylor and Gelish MINI Review 0

"Become a polished warrior as fast as lightening.  In conjunction with DreamWorks Animation's release of Kung Fu Panda 3, Morgan Taylor and Gelish MINI introduce the Kung Fu Panda Collection.  Find your favorite feminine hue amongst our six flirty colors to welcome Mei Mei- the fearless and fun-loving, ribbon-dancing panda. With varying, vibrant shades, take on theaters with style and spunk.

"For this collection we wanted to create a color palette around the new character Mei Mei in the movie," Taylor Daniel from the brands expresses.  "She's courageous and bursting with personality.  We wanted to bring that to life, and drew inspiration from her colorful, eye-catching ensemble flowing with red, purple, pink and other vivacious shades." Morgan Haile from the brands adds," according to the official press release.

The Kung Fu Panda Collection includes the following shades:

Warriors Don't Wine: a warm purple plum creme. [plum creme]

Extra Plum Sauce: a medium purple with a pink shimmer to it. [amethyst pearl]

Po-riwinkle: a light lilac creme. [light periwinkle cream]

Tigress Knows Best: a cherry red creme. [hot red creme]

It's Gonna be Mei: a metallic magenta pink. [rose pearl]

Kung Fu-chsia: a metallic fuchsia. [bright fuchsia pearl]

(all swatches shown here are 2 coats of the Gelish MINI, cured each for 30 seconds in an LED light, and are taken outdoors in natural light).

Overall I really like this collection.  I think the colors are fun, girly, very wearable and are shades clients would definitely request.  Although I have never seen any of the Kung Fu Panda films, I can already see the inspiration transpired in these colors.

I didn't have any problems with the formulas.  They each painted on smoothly and evenly.

I'm not the only one who is a fan of this collection; my 3 month old maltipoo BooBoz stole the print ad from me and had a grand ol time.

"Kung Fu Panda 3, will be opening in theaters on January 29, 2016.  The Kung Fu Panda Collection from Morgan Taylor and Gelish MINI will be available for a limited time beginning January 2016.  Morgan Taylor will be sold at select salons nationwide and at http://morgantaylorlacquer.com/ for $8.50 per bottle and $14.95 for the 4-piece mini pack. Gelish MINIs will be sold at Sally Beauty Supply Stores and http://www.sallybeauty.com/ for $13.99 each."

Morgan Taylor Gifted with style holiday collection 2015 review

Morgan Taylor Gifted with style holiday collection 2015 review 0

"Spreading holiday joy won't be a problem this year with Morgan Taylor's Gifted with Style 2015 Holiday Collection.  With six festive colors, there is no denying holiday parties will be filled with cheer and sassy style.  From sultry red creme and lush dark purple to a silvery shimmer, every shade will make your nails the life of any celebratory occasion.

"For this collection, we wanted to build a selection of luxurious cremes and brilliant shimmers that any lacquer lover would feel confident wearing during the holidays and beyond," namesakes Morgan Haile and Taylor Daniels express.  "With any of these shades you can create applause-worthy nail art or rock a solid finish with distinction." according to the official press release.

The Morgan Taylor Gifted with Style Holiday Collection 2015 is comprised of the following-

Ruby Two-Shoes: a bright and bold red creme with a magenta pink undertone upon closer inspection.

I'm So Hot: a sultry metallic shimmering deep cranberry crimson red.

All Wrapped Up: a shimmering purple with some silver flecks in it. a very unique shade.  I absolutely love it.

Gifted in Platinum: a shimmering shiny silver with a slight iridescent shimmer running trough it.  The iridescent shimmer not only adds extra beauty to this shade, but it also makes it very unique compared to conventional silver shades.

Tinsel My Fancy: a light gunmetal shimmer that also features an iridescent shimmer running through it, like Gifted in Platinum has.  I also absolutely adore this shade.

A Little Naughty: a dusty light burgundy plum creme.

(all swatches shown here are 2 coats, & are taken outdoors in natural light).

I must say I am really happy with this collection.  I feel that when most companies come out with a holiday collection this time of year they always include at least one color that totally doesn't make sense to me.  However, this collection is totally not like that.  All of the shades are super holiday appropriate, and are all very pretty.

They each painted on smoothly and evenly, with absolutely no streaking, which can be a major issue with silvery metallic shades like Gifted in Platinum and Tinsel My Fancy are.  Even if at first glance these shades don't seem to be super unique, do not pre-judge, because upon closer inspection they are quite special and multi faceted.

My personal favorites in this collection include: All Wrapped Up & Tinsel My Fancy

The Gifted With Style 2015 Holiday Collection from Morgan Taylor is out and available now for a limited time, so make sure to grab your before it's too late.  The shades retail for $8.50 per 0.5 fl oz (15 mL).

"For this collaboration, we were immediately inspired by the iconic imagery from The Rocky Horror Picture Show," expresses Morgan Haile of Morgan Taylor.  "We hand-picked top colors from our collection that were stunning and captivating to best complement the special occasion," says Taylor Daniel of Morgan Taylor.  "In addition, the collection wouldn't be complete without a little mad scientist touch, so we added a glow-in-the-dark top coat for an electrifying and sassy finish to any look" according to the press release.

The four piece mini collection includes the following shades:

All White Now: a classic bright white creme.

Pretty Woman: the perfect classic timeless red creme.  I absolutely LOVE this red.  It's so perfect and flattering and so many different skin tones.  You can't go wrong.

Little Black Dress: a jet black creme.

Glow-In-The-Dark Top Coat: a special effect top coat, that truly glows brightly in the dark.  When applied over the other shades it wasn't so evident, you could really only see it visibly over Little Black Dress.

(All swatches shown here are two coats, and are taken outdoors in natural light, except for the glow-in-the-dark top coat to better demonstrate the effect).

I found the three main shades to be very highly pigmented, providing fantastic full coverage.  These are all classic colors that are literally timeless, and you can't ever go wrong.  I am adding these little goodies to my main travel kit. I was also really impressed with how well the glow top coat worked.  I have tried a few different brands in the past but they never shined nearly as brightly as this one did.

"Cowgirl up with big city style this fall.  It's time to saddle up and wrangle in a style statement this season.  Morgan Taylor and Gelish MINI's Urban Cowgirl Collection for fall 2015 is kicking with daring to soothing, rustic colors.  From a gorgeous earthy green creme to a standout, stunning pink with a pearl finish, each shade was created for the strong, sophisticated woman with a spirit that's wild at heart.

"We wanted to capture the essence of a fearless, modern woman, whether she is a cowgirl who loves the city lifestyle, or a city girl with a country side." namesakes Morgan Haile and Taylor Daniel express. "With this theme in mind, we immediately thought of an earth tone color palette.  The wide range in this collection will complement any lifestyle this fall." according to the press release.

The new colors comprising the Urban Cowgirl Collection include:

Pumps or Cowboy Boots?: a rich deep dark brown creme with purple undertones. [black/brown creme]

From Rodeo to Rodeo Drive: a grayed out purple creme with a very subtle shimmer to it. [taupe creme. a Gelish MINI exclusive]

Tex'as me Later: a shimmering splendid light raspberry pink. [copper/pink pearl]

Holy Cow-girl!: a sage green creme with shimmer in it. [sage green creme]

Tan my Hide: a milky beige creme with shimmer.  [pale nude creme]

Plum Tuckered Out: a dark purple grape creme. [plum creme]

**A Touch of Sass: a deep darkened cranberry red creme. [dark red creme. Morgan Taylor exclusive]

(unless otherwise stated, all swatches shown here are of the Gelish MINI shades, and are two layers, cured each for 30 seconds in an LED lamp, and are taken outdoors in natural lighting).

I have to say this is the first collection for Fall 2015 I have reviewed, and I must say I am very pleased.  I think this is a gorgeous color palette, that I honestly want to start offering my clients right now, despite the fact it's summer and a million degrees outside.  This collection is so wearable and classic, & consists of colors your clients are going to be obsessed with and receive countless complements on.

I found the formulas on both the gel polishes and the nail lacquers to be excellent, providing me complete and full coverage in two smooth coats.

I also really like the fact that Gelish and Morgan Taylor are coordinating their collections colors, so clients can have matching hands and toes if they so desire.  Helps take all the grunt work out of trying to match up the colors just right.

My personal favorite shades include: From Rodeo to Rodeo Drive, and Tan my Hide, and Tex'as me Later.

"Grab a lasso and roundup the Urban Cowgirl fall collection from Gelish MINI and Morgan Taylor, which will be available for a limited time beginning August 2015.  Gelish MINI is available exclusively at Sally Beauty Supply stores, and http://www.sallybeautysupply.com/ for $13.99 per bottle and Morgan Taylor is available at http://morgantaylorlacquer.com/ for $8.50 per bottle."

Morgan Taylor Chrome Collection Review

Morgan Taylor Chrome Collection Review 0

"Morgan Taylor launches Chrome Collection 2015. Lust- worthy, bold gilded nails are just two steps away.  Bring bright metallic colors to life this summer with Morgan Taylor's Chrome Collection.  Featuring a silver chrome base and six new, eye- catching color washes, nails will be layered with luminous, unmatched style.   Whether you keep it simple yet stunning with one color, or layer and build custom colors, your nails will be the perfect accessory this season.

The Collection includes:

- Chrome Base: base coat

- Sunset Yellow: yellow

- Amber Rush: orange

- Cherry: hot red-pink

- Royal: purple

- UltraMarine: teal

- Ivy: green

The Chrome Collection from Morgan Taylor will be available for a limited time beginning July 2015.  The suggested retail price for the lacquer is $8.50 each and $14.95 for the 4 piece mini pack." according to the press release.

Featured here in this review is the 4 Piece Mini Pack.  What I really enjoy about the mini pack is you don't have to invest in an entire set to try out a popular new trend.

There are so many ways you can use these Chrome polishes, you're only limited by your own imagination and creativity.

For swatch sake, I have painted two coats of each color over the silver base.  The silver base allows the almost translucent sheer pigmented colors to truly pop, and painted on smoothly and evenly, without any streaks.

The formulas on all the pigmented shades are incredibly forgiving and are very easy to work with.  I don't care how advanced your nail art skills might be, even a complete beginner could create amazing works of art!

Also worth mentioning is how fast the colors dry.  I was under the impression I would have to wait a long time in between colors or coats, but you don't.  These babies dry super quick!

If you are looking to try out this new pop metallic trend, and don't want to invest in an entire line, I highly suggest picking up this mini pack!

The Hello Pretty! Summer 2015 Collection for both Nail Lacquer Morgan Taylor and Gel Polish Gelish include the following shades:

Look at You, Pink-achu!: a bright bubble gum pink creme. (bubblegum pink neon creme)

Tokyo a Go Go: a bold medium purple with slight pink undertones. (light purple neon creme)

Pop-arrazi Pose: a neon watermelon pink creme. (hot pink neon creme)

Do You Harajuku?: a light mint green creme with a subtle shimmer going through it. (mint green creme)

Anime-zing Color!: a bold deep majestic purple creme. (dark purple neon creme)

Manga-round with Me: a hot coral pink creme. (coral neon creme)

(all swatches are two coat, and are taken outdoors in natural sunlight.)

I think this is a great collection overall, very pretty and playful.  I really like the fact that the colors pop on their own, without the need of a white base coat, like some other neon shades.  Because they are neon, I highly recommend using a top coat to finish off your look, specifically with the Morgan Taylor nail lacquers.  If you don't use a top coat with these neons, the color can fall somewhat flat.

I didn't experience any issues in application.  All of the polishes and gel polishes applied smoothly and evenly, in two coats.

My personal favorites include: Anime-zing Color!, Manga-round with me, and Do you Harajuku?

The Hello Pretty! Collection from Gelish and Morgan Taylor will be available starting May 2015 at select distributors.

Morgan Taylor- Ooh La La Collection Spring Summer 2015 Review

Morgan Taylor- Ooh La La Collection Spring Summer 2015 Review 0

"Romantic and Classic Parisian Spring/ Summer Shades.  This spring, get inspired by the chic and sophisticated style of Paris with the Ooh La La Spring/Summer 2015 collection from Morgan Taylor, which features four NEW soft , whimsical shades.  From a teal creme to warm pinks and a multicolor glitter, each shade delivers a classic, yet on-trend finish for any look this season.

"I'm always inspired by Paris- from its romantic essence, iconic art and architecture to its fashion trends" said CEO and founder Danny Haile.  For this collection, we developed a color palette around this theme using soft to lavish shades filled with vintage charm," according to the press release.

The Ooh La La Collection includes:

Amour Color Please: a hot fuchsia pink creme with a purple shimmer.  Very highly pigmented.  I had full coverage in a single coat.

Escar-go ti France: white, pink, magenta, baby blue, holographic silver various sized round glitters in a clear base.  Was easy to remove, which is a huge plus.

Postcards from Paris: a light mint green creme.  A one coat wonder.

Cancan we Dance: almost neon flamingo pink creme with purple shimmer.  So gorgeous in person.  Was also highly pigmented and provided full coverage in a single coat.

(all swatches shown here are 2 coats, and are taken outdoors in natural light).

Overall I am really impressed with this collection.  I like that its small, only four shades, but I think Morgan Taylor chose wisely.  I really love the glitter, Escar-go to France, its pretty unique as well in my opinion.  Also worth mentioning is how easily it removed.  I also really like the purple shimmer that runs through two of the shades- Cancan we Dance? & Amour Color Please; it adds dimension and depth.  The formulas overall were fantastic.  I found almost all of the shades to be very highly pigmented.  They all painted on smoothly and evenly.

The Ooh La La collection will be available for a limited time beginning in May 2015.  They retail for $8.50 each.
